An invite from a friend who has three or four Jays visiting his garden was gladly taken up and resulted in some great close up images of these birds as they foraged for food to feed youngsters back in their nests. Using his garden shed as a hide and a strategically placed perch, the results were not to shabby. Great birds even though they share the same status as Magpies and Crows.
